Karoline Finch

Founder

Karoline Finch was the President and Director of the Aesthetics Department of the Mississippi Institute of Aesthetics Nails & Cosmetology. She has been a practicing Cosmetologist and Salon Owner for more than 39 years and a licensed Cosmetology Instructor for over 37 years, with an emphasis in aesthetics and nails. Karoline is a graduate of the Vicksburg School of Cosmetology, the Gulf Coast Institute of Electrolysis, and the Kemp-Harris Institute of Aesthetics & Hypertrichology. She has received certifications in DermAware Biotargeted Skin Care, Vitalift Lymphthatic Drainage and Facelift, Micordermabrasion /Micropeel, Obagi Skin Heath Restoration and Rejuvenation System and is also certified in micropigmentation and permanent cosmetics by the American Institute of Intradermal Cosmetics in Arlington, TX. In addition to founding this organization, Karoline is a member of the Mississippi Cosmetology Association, Cosmetology Educators of America, Mississippi Cosmetology School Association, the American Association of Cosmetology Schools, the Association of Skin Care Professionals and the National Correlation of Estheticians Association. Past president of the Mississippi cosmetology school association.

Deborah Ballou

1st Vice President

Deborah Ballou is a licensed Master Esthetician and Skincare Director with over 30 years of experience in medically based skin care and aesthetics. She specializes in advanced treatments, including microneedling, microdermabrasion, HydraFacial and chemical peels. As Director of Skincare at Blackledge Face Center and Southern Face & Body Deborah has led the development of clinical skin care services trained, and supervise aestheticians and built strong patient relationships through personalized analysis and consultations. In addition to her clinical leadership, she has extensive experience as an educator having created and delivered continuing education programs for licensed Estheticians and Cosmetologists. She loves volunteering to mentor students. Deborah is known for her warm patient centered approach, strong business, acumen, and commitment to elevating standards in professional skin care.

Kym Holley

2nd Vice President

Kym Holley is the owner of Bubble The Day Spa located in Columbus, Ms. She has been in the industry for 14 years and a Monroe County native. Kym served as the Mississippi educator for Nufree and has enjoyed helping others advance their careers through waxing techniques. While using modalities such as Hydrafacial and Procell, Kym has advanced her esthetic services and continues to do so through trainings throughout the U.S. She has had the privilege to be voted Best of Triangle and Among Best of the Triangle multiple years. Her spa has been awarded numerous times through Mississippi Magazine, WCBI News, Commercial Dispatch and more.

Terrance Bonner

Board Director

Terrance Bonner has been in the beauty and wellness industry since 2012 as a massage therapist, an esthetician, a massage therapy and esthetic instructor and a spa & wellness expert. He is also the author of Determination + Core Values = SUCCESS. Terrance has won multiple awards in his field including Best Massage Therapist in 2015, and Best Aesthetician 2016, 2018. His business, The Bonner Institute®, located in Columbus, was also awarded The Best Spa of Mississippi in 2019. This honor led him to be featured on NBC, ABC, FOX, and CBS. Terrance currently sits on The Mississippi State Board of Massage Therapy as vice-chairman.

Anna Thames

Board Director

Anna Thames is the lead aesthetician at Shell Laser MedSpa, in Oxford, MS and has been a licensed/medically trained aesthetician since 2004. Her expertise is in Plastic Surgery Skincare, where she has vast experience in laser technologies as well as medical grade skincare. Anna is a graduate of Ole Miss and Mississippi Institute of Aesthetics, Nails and Cosmetology with a focus in Esthetics. She has been employed by Shell Plastic Surgery since 2014. During her career, she spent eight years working/training under the supervision of a Cosmetic Biochemist, as an educator, as well as a sales and marketing expert. Anna has an aggressive approach to all skin treatments and believes that continuing education is key to staying up on the latest technologies and ingredients available.
